Our city put on a fun Halloween party at the new city park. There were many fun activities planned... pumpkin carving, scarecrow building, carnival games, 5K races and a pie eating contest, followed by a monster mash once the sun went down. Sam, Megan, Naomi, James and Mom went to check out the festivities. The weather was soooo nice that mom didn't think to bring warm things for the babies to wear over their ladybug and surferboy costumes. When the sun set, it got cold . Sam was generous and let them bundle up in the clown costume he decided not to wear. He entered the pie eating contest, and was completely surprised and dissmayed when his name was called. He spent some time on stage with the Jazz dancers and waited for someone else win the contest. He had a delicious chocolate pie to finish eating when he got home. We had such fun as we played with our friends and enjoyed a HAPPY Halloween party!
